Tanya: IGERES HATESHUVAH. Ch. 1. Tanya (p. 343)... Thus far the Beraita, (p. 345).In the Tanya edition published in Zolkvi in the year M'vasseir Tov ("Herald of Good," numerically equivalent to 5559, or 1799), the first version of Igeret Hateshuva was printed.
It was not divided into chapters and there are variances (from the present text) in content.
